Auto Advantage Newcastle to Port Stephens Race 2013 is shaping up as a great contest with 34 entries received for Sunday’s coastal dash! The Auto Advantage Newcastle Port Stephens Yacht Race to be held on 14 April 2013 has a fantastic line up of entrants in the 30 to 50 footer range.

In the race for Line Honours yachts to watch out for will include Kernan 44 Swish, Corby 43 Anger Management, DK 46 Nine Dragons, Sayer 44.9 Colortile, Mat1245 Obsession, Farr 36OD Toy Story as well as Farr 40 ODs PT73, Long Time Dead andIota. If the wind is on the nose or beam the ‘maxi boat’ in the fleet (relatively speaking) Margaret Rintoul V will pose a challenge to knock off for first past the post.

With Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club conducting a race to Newcastle this Saturday, free berthing on Saturday evening for competitors entering the Newcastle Port Stephens Race the following day and the standard NCYC warm welcome and good hospitality guaranteed this weekend’s Auto Advantage Newcastle to Port Stephens Race won’t be one to miss.
