New Lewmar V6 - V8 Windlass - true super yacht appeal

Lewmar's new state-of-the-art V6 and V8 vertical windlasses have true super yacht appeal. Deck units are constructed from 316 stainless steel and offer the ultimate in strength to withstand high loads on vessels from 55 to 110 feet (17m - 33.5m).

The V6 windlass is available as gypsy only and gypsy drum in left hand, right hand and remote chain pipe configurations. The V6 is available with 24V or hydraulic power option and a large range of gypsy sizes. The V6 has a cone clutch for smooth, easy control whilst anchoring

The V8 windlass is available as gypsy only and gypsy drum in left hand, right hand and remote chain pipe configurations. Available with 24V DC, 208v and 400V AC, or hydraulic power the V8 offers a wide variety of power options to suit every customer.

Extensive ranges of metric and imperial chain gypsies are available to suit most boat specifications. The V8 gypsy is driven by a solid dog-drive for maximum pulling power without compromise that can be easily disconnected for controlled anchor descent via a band brake. The band brake can be operated with a winch handle or remotely via two choices of hand wheel.

Drums on both the V6 and V8 windlass feature a stainless steel W.A.R.P (Wear and Abrasion Resistant Pattern).
