ISAF Nations Cup North America / Caribbean Regional Final was held at Fort Worth, Texas, USA. Racing started on Thursday 19th May 2011.
Canada's Peter Wickwire and his crew of Matt Christie and Tim Bishop comprehensively won the Final over the weekend. The Canadian trio, who have an ISAF World Match Race Ranking position of number 75, defeated Colin Rathbun, Christopher Haycraft and Antony Wighting, from the British Virgin Islands, 3-0 in the Final.
Wickwire and his team came through the Round Robins relatively unscathed winning nine out of ten match races against the British Virgin Islands team and Mauricio Gallardo, Jorge Guevara and Humberto Zepeda from El Salvador.
The Canadian teams only defeat came in the fifth Round Robin against Rathbun, who looked to take some momentum into the final having already qualified after beating the El Salvadorian team.
But Rathbun's win counted for nothing as Wickwire used his experience and brushed the British Virgin Islands team aside with relative ease to qualify for the Grand Final.
