The NZMYC Boat Show is free admission to the public and is run on a volunteer basis, a gold coin donation is always welcome.
Just by turning up members of the public could be in to win $150 worth of resin. The (New Zealand Multihull Yacht Club (NZMYC) owns and runs the Coastal Classic every year as is run by volunteers, we base ourselves in the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron and all the races and cruising events are run from the Club.
The yachts on display are some of the latest racing machines, . There is a excellent examples of the 8.5 class on display and there are a few for sale including the famous Timberwolf. Little Wing is a solo racer across the Tasman, Donald King is the owner.
The designers are there to offer advice on the latest designs from a small racer to a luxury super yacht. We are lucky to have Peter Melvin from Morrelli & Melvin a famous design firm with experience in the Americas Cup.
