This October Long Weekend sees the running of the 2012 APC Lock Crowther Multihull Regatta in Broken Bay starting this Friday with the optional Blue Water Classic ocean race prologue, followed by four inshore races on the Saturday and Sunday.

Over 25 trimarans and catamarans are expected to contest the inshore races, including hot racing boats as well as comfortable cruisers. The non-spinnaker Cruising Division will enable cruising boats to participate in a more relaxed style. Brisk 15-20 knot winds are expected on Friday and Saturday which will make for some exciting and fast. See last year’s action here.

Whether you are a racer or cruiser, come and join the Pittwater multihull community for an exciting and fun weekend.

Sailing Instructions and registration are available here.

A social programme will ensure that crews can exchange their racing stories and the weekend finishes on Monday with a Beach BBQ at Towlers Bay, at the southern end of Pittwater, which is welcome to all boats and crews whether racing or not.
