Congratulations to Alec Cutler aboard Hedgehog as he and his team of tactician Richard Clarke, crew members Max Skelley, Mike Wolfs, Eric Dorman, Charlie Pucciariello, Sarah Callahan and Alan 'Budda' Nakanishi are 2012 Miami Champions.

In second overall was Full Throttle's John Porter with tactician Jonathan McKee alongside his 'boys' - Vincent, Corbett and Clifford Porter as well as Kelly McKenna assisted by Andy Burdick, and Fritz Lanzinger. Keisuke Suzuki aboard Swing rounded out the top three.

It was decided early on Sunday morning to call off all racing as a fast approaching cold front surged ever closer, ushering in the potential for severe weather and high winds, some above and beyond class rule limitations.
Saturday final results stand as is, for the final results on Sunday.

A very special thanks is extended to the Coconut Grove Sailing Club, especially Commordore Ron Rostorfer and team. As always, a very special thanks to PRO Hank Stuart.

A Q&A with Ed Furry about Sail22 and regatta support
I talked with Ed Furry to learn more about Sail22, the sailing concierge business that he runs with his wife, Becky. I first crossed tacks with Ed Furry at the 2008 Antigua Race Week, and it was instantly obvious that the guy loves sailing, sailing culture and the opportunity to help his fellow sailors become faster. So, I wasn’t surprised to start seeing him at a variety of regattas and industry events with his Sail22 sailing concierge business. I caught up with him at the 2016 J/70 Worlds to learn more.
