Ron Wisner is looking for sunny days and starlit nights for this year’s Marion Bermuda Race. He and his crew aboard Hotspur II, his 1968 Columbia 50, will be entered in the Founders Division using only celestial navigation. Alexandru Baranescu
This Friday, June 14, 2013, the 645 mile, open-ocean Marion Bermuda Race starts off Marion, MA. Whether you have a boat or not, you can literally 'watch' all the boats participating in the race through a satellite tracking system by Yellowbrick, a world leader in GPS satellite tracking. Kingman Yacht Center in Cataumet, Massachusetts is this year's race tracker sponsor. You have many different viewing options in tracking the race; you can watch the entire fleet go down the course from Marion to Bermuda, or you can follow specific classes. Best of all, you can even track just your favorites and cheer them on with your own personal postings. As you watch the race unfold, you’ll see how each boat’s different strategy affects its ultimate position. Access the Marion Bermuda Race tracking directly
website or through the Marion Bermuda Race
website.
