Malibu WWA Rider Experience details revealed

Locations, dates and registration have been announced for the 2014 Malibu WWA Rider Experience. The four-stop Rider Experience series for Jr. Pro Men’s, WWA Wakeboard Regional Championships, Judge’s Experience and more are all wrapped into one awesome event. In fact, there’s something for the entire family to get involved in, whether you’ve never ridden a wakeboard or a wakesurfer or you’re a seasoned rider looking to further your on and off-the-water abilities.

Each stop of the Malibu WWA Rider Experience creates a one-on-one, riders first feel that brings the riders, family and friends closer to the action of the event. Top pro riders and WWA rated officials will be onsite to teach everything about wakeboarding and wakesurfing from how to get up, to how to put together your best contest run. Epic final day to close off successful The Pistol River Wave Bash
The Men’s final was a very tight heat and impressive jump fest. Russ Faurot was the first to land a big clean back loop The Women’s final, in smoking winds saw all the women fighting for survival, whilst trying to hold down their sails as best as possible. That did not deter the multiple time Pistol River Wave Bash champion, Ingrid Larouche from going for a forward, landing her the crown again here in Gold Beach, Oregon.

A consistent south westerly 10-14 knot breeze ensured a bumper day of live Medal Races in Portland Harbour. The Medal Races provided a glimpse of what is to come at Rio 2016 with those aiming to peak for the Olympic Games topping the podium.

Day 5 at Pistol River Wave Bash was game on, and brought conclusion of the Youths, Amateurs, and Masters, competitions. The judges did an amazing job today also running the Women, Pro, and Grand Masters through to the Semi-Finals.

Day 4 brought another fabulous day here, on the Oregon coast, with beautiful sunshine sparkling off the Pacific Ocean.
