Major upgrade in progress - We have been experiencing rapid growth over the last three months and we are currently adding another two servers to speed up the sites. Some elements of the site may show errors as our team is still working to bring everything on line. Please bear with us.

Note - Our regular newsletters will be delayed until the upgrades are finished.


NB. If you listen very carefully, with sound up loud or with headset on, you may hear the sounds of jackhammers and concrete mixers from behind the temporary walls, or if its a morning or afternoon tea break, you might just hear the whirring of the propellors on the hats of our IT team. But then again you may not. (;--)

Gosh that last bit might have been best kept for another six days...

For the first time, revitalized International Women’s Keelboat Championship was held outside the United States. For the first time in event history, the revitalized International Women’s Keelboat Championship, a US Sailing Championship, was held outside the United States. Club de Vela La Peña A.C. in Valle de Bravo, Mexico hosted the 2017 edition of this historic event and provided the competitors with a unique experience.

US Grade Two Grand Slam begins this weekend in Chicago
Chicago Yacht Club and Chicago Match Race Center are co-hosting the first stop of the three-event, US Grand Slam Series. The field of competitors includes twelve teams from five countries, seven of which are currently ranked in top 100 in World Sailing match racing rankings. PRO Anderson Reggio sent the fleet to the 'inside' Halfway Rock racecourse for what would be a very exciting, four-race day of Melges 20 sailing.

Iranian finn sailor aims to make history at Tokyo 2020
He first stepped into a Finn in 2015 and took part in the Rio 2016 continental qualifier, with assistance from the FIDeS Ahmad Ahmadi is aiming to become the first Iranian sailor to compete at the Olympic Games. He opens his campaign at the 2017 Finn Gold Cup next month at Balatonfoldvar in Hungary and has launched a crowdfunding campaign to help fund his Olympic dream and give him the best possible chances of success in Tokyo.
