The Australian entry, Limit (Alan Brierty) is expected to finish the Auckland Noumea soon after sunrise on Thursday morning. Second home will be the Alan Andrews designed TP52, V5 (Simon Hull), with a major tussle behind for third place.

While race projections have it that the Holland 80, Lion New Zealand will be third home, just over 12 hours behind V5 which in is 12 hours behind the 63ft Reichel Pugh design.

However on the latest report from Tracker, it would seem that Lion New Zealand will have her work cut out.

Limit is expected to scoop all the major trophies in the event.
