Leading marine industry sales professional returns with a new venture

by Peter Pembroke Creating Demand on 12 Mar 2012
Focusing on "old school" service to the brokerage business. Creating Demand
After spending the past four years skippering and managing a super yacht throughout Europe and Australia, leading boat sales professional Hans Stolz has returned to set up his own business, Axis Marine.

Axis Marine is a premium boat brokerage and yacht management service based on the Gold Coast, offering a range of superior level sales, brokerage and ownership services. Having spent over 20 years in the marine industry, Hans identified the need for a premium level brokerage service that focuses on promoting only high quality brokerage vessels ranging from 40 to 100 feet.

Axis Marine will only list and market boats that have been well maintained, ensuring their listings are of the highest quality. Benefits for the vendors include Hans’ vast knowledge of the market, extensive list of contacts and the highly personal and professional manner in which their boat is marketed. For buyers, Hans and his team will provide a candid and honest assessment of their listings, offering superior levels of back up support once a boat has been purchased.

'Many of my past clients have often mentioned the need for the old school service approach to boat sales and ongoing customer service, something they believe is not like it was in previous years', said Hans. 'My attitude, which is reflective of the approach of my team, is that we focus on less clients but offer a premium level service that assists both our vendors and our buyers. And when you buy a boat from Axis Marine you will always have 24 hour personal access to our team members to ensure a hassle free ownership experience.'

Having sold big boats for many years, Hans also understands that most boat owners really enjoy ongoing communication with their Broker. That may include assistance with warranty, servicing and maintenance for their boat, guidance and tuition on the use of their boat or to enjoy trips and events with like minded owners, helping owners to gain the full lifestyle benefits of boat ownership. All services that Hans and his team will be providing for their clientele.

Axis Marine has also been appointed as authorised brokers for Belize Motor Yachts and the Italian built Falcon Yachts.

For more information or to view our range of brokerage and new vessels visit www.axismarine.net or contact Hans Stolz on 0407 672 673.

The price of legacy
Malcolm Page OAM, two-time Olympic Gold Medallist, became the Chief of Olympic Sailing for the USA on January 1 Malcolm Page OAM, two-time Olympic Gold Medallist (470) with Nathan Wilmot in 2008 and Mat Belcher in 2012, became the Chief of Olympic Sailing for the USA on January 1 this year. In and of itself it is hardly the freshest news, and well and truly yesterday’s fish wrapper. It was also a wise choice on behalf of Team USA, for he has succeeded in both the physical and commercial arms of our sport.
