Kiwi Yachting Consultants acquires Southern Pacific Marine

Kiwi Yachting Consultants, a leading distributor and manufacturer of quality marine equipment owned by Dean Barker and Richard and Isabel Macalister, have acquired the assets of Southern Pacific Marine Ltd which includes the reputable brands Safety at Sea and Southern Pacific Inflatables.
'Both Safety at Sea and Southern Pacific Inflatables are highly respected brands within the New Zealand market' said Richard Macalister, Managing Director of Kiwi Yachting Consultants Ltd. 'We believe that by incorporating those brands into the Kiwi Yachting business model it is sure to make this combination a success here and in overseas markets'.

Both Safety at Sea and Southern Pacific Inflatables will trade under Kiwi Yachting Consultants and both the Westhaven and Kumeu facilities will be retained.

Kiwi Yachting Consultants was established in 1988. KYC has become a respected distributor and manufacturer of quality marine equipment representing many of the highly successful global suppliers in the New Zealand and Australian markets and also manufactures and exports the globally respected AutoAnchor rope/chain counting modules.
