Its easy to put our Website icons on your iPhone and iPad!

On the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad you can put bookmarks for any site, creating one-tap shortcuts to your favourite websites. Sail-World, Marine Business World, Powerboat World, and Fishing Boating World now have custom icons for you to save for quick, easy access!

(Below you will see images of the process on the iPad 2 and iPhone. The process on the iPod Touch is the same as on the iPhone.)

The process is super-simple and here’s how it works:

1. Open up Safari and load a website (Sail-World or any other).



2. At the top of the screen you’ll see an icon depicting an arrow that looks like it’s trying to get away from a square. It represents tapping a button to perform an action, tap this button.

3. If you managed to tap that button successfully, you’ll have a few options. The one you want to tap is 'Add to Home Screen'.



4.You’ll be asked to choose a name for the homescreen icon. So, you know, pick a short one and save it.

When you’re done it’ll show up on your homescreen and now going to our sites is just a click.



And that’s all.

On a hot summer day at Enoshima, gentle seabreeze started as usual, however, it did not increase, and the Medal Race started at 13:45 after some waiting on shore.

Five athletes added to US Sailing Team Roster
Steph Roble (East Troy, Wisc.) and Maggie Shea (Wilmette, Ill.) have been added in the women's 49erFX Chris Rast (Holland, Mich.) and Trevor Burd (Marblehead, Mass.) have been named in the men's 49er, and Haddon Hughes (Houston, Texas) has joined the team in the women's Laser Radial class.

A forecast calling for storms to pass over course during night convinced seven of the original 40 entrants to drop out Of the remaining 33 teams, an additional ten were forced to retire due to damaged equipment or other problems incurred during multiple squalls that left memorable impressions and their calling cards of driving rain and winds gusting 40+ knots.

The strong thermals continued to pulse through on Monday and coupled with the extreme low tides and dying swell Fresh off watching the pros in action the Amateurs were ready to take to the water themselves for round one. By 10:00am Russ Faurot and Casey Hauser showed the crew it was plenty windy with a quick session before heats got underway at 10:40am.

Laser Radial Worlds - Young Australian talent makes big move on Day 2
Yesterday’s racing in difficult, light wind highlighted different sailors in each race, and the same applied today The second day of Laser Radial World Championships brought sun and 6-8 knots of breeze for all three fleets. In the white fleet today, the most notable performance was that of Australia’s Mara Stransky. After a general recall, the white fleet started race three and Mirthe Akkerman (NED) shot out to the front by the first mark, where Stransky was around 10th.

Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup – Building on success
Pulses look set to race once again at the Mediterranean’s greatest festival of big boat competition. As usual, this year’s fleet will be grouped into classes depending upon several factors, including size, rating and racing capabilities. Within the smaller participating yachts, between 18.29 metres and 24.08 metres, the sub-division promotes close and fair racing under the prevailing handicap systems.
