On the second day of the Italian Olympic Week 2013 the reliable 16 knots Ora breeze blew across the course. Tom Burton continues to lead the 102 strong laser fleet.
Burton managed to remain first overall, despite finishing seventh in the first race. The Australian finished first and second in the other two races.Croatian sailor, Tonci Stipanovic is currently ranked first European and second overall. Stipanovic ended up with a fifth, second and a bullet in the three races sailed today. Jean Baptiste Bernaz from France is in third place overall.
For the Laser Radial, Irelands Annalise Murphy roared back into form with three first place finishes. Finnish sailor Tuula Tenkanen is currently second Overall after a consistent day scoring a fifth, fourth and third place finishes. Croatian Tina Mihelic claims to have struggled in the stronger breeze as today conditions favoured the bigger built sailors.
