|
Boaters are advised that Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) is carrying out investigation work to the foundations of Tarban Creek Bridge on Burns Bay Road at Hunters Hill. Work is being carried out to collect information on the existing foundation conditions for use in design work for repairs to the bridge. Work involves drilling bore holes using a drilling rig placed on a barge. Work is being carried out between 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday and between 8am and 1pm on Saturdays. Skippers are advised to exercise caution near the bridge and to keep well clear of the work. Skippers are also advised to keep a proper lookout at all times and to keep vessel wash to a minimum. Work is expected to continue until 12 October, weather permitting.
