International Sailing Summit for Paris
The leaders from the sailing industry are once again convening to network and share ideas for promoting participation in sailing.

After eight previous successful Summits, held all around the world, this is the first visit to Paris. This 9th ISS will be hosted by FIN, the French nautical federation and will be held on 4th December, 2008 as a lead-in to the Paris International Boat Show.

A great line-up of speakers and presentations is planned, with the emphasis being on successes in the French sailing industry in the morning session and successes in promoting sailing around the world being featured in the afternoon. The ISS will conclude with a gala dinner featuring keynote speakers yacht designer Ron Holland and ISS Patron Gérard Petipas, founder of the Pen Duick company. There will also be a screening of the movie ‘Tabarly’ by Pierre Marcel.

The 9th International Sailing Summit is sponsored by BIC Sport, FIN, the European Confederation of Nautical Industries, Fast Track, FSE Robline, Henri-Lloyd, Nautic, Ronstan, West Marine, Sailing Company and Eurosaf. It is chaired again by Alistair Murray of Ronstan.
