Following her 1-2 result on day one, the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania Dinghy Group member again sailed well for a fifth and a seventh place in the 43 boat fleet, while her main rival, Celine Herud from Norway, had a fourth and a second place.
The Norwegian girl is on a net five points after one discard, Anna is on eight points, while a Brazilian sailor, Julia Silver, has moved up from sixth to third overall, with two third places on day two, to be on a net 10 points.
Sailing conditions were again light, suiting the slim Tasmanian sailor, but the fleet also had to contend with a strong current on the muddy-coloured waters of the River Plate.
In the boys championship, Victorian Jack Felsental is eighth overall with a seventh and a third place on day two.
A total of 117 youth sailors from around the world are contesting the world championship at the Yacht Club Argentino.
