Integrity strikes a chord with Baby Boomers

by Jeni Bone on 27 May 2013
Brett Flanagan from Integrity Jeni Bone
With an awesome show special of last year's prices and some $50,000 in extras thrown in, Integrity Motor Yachts enjoyed great interest and solid leads for its new 380 Sedan during the 2013 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.

'We have heaps of leads and a bunch of trials planned for after the show,' says Brett Flanagan *** at Integrity, 'As well as working with a lot of boats that people are looking to trade in. That's great for us. We'll be disappointed if we don't sell four boats from the show.'

People who order an Integrity 340 Sedan or 380 Sedan at the show will receive the Platinum Pack extras list valued at over $50,000, absolutely free.

With 2012 pricing on the 380 Sedan of $449,000 and the additional $50,000 in options, Flanagan says the offer is too good to refuse, and many couples and families are looking to take advantage of that.

'We work with the sales premise that life is short, it's not a rehearsal. A lot of our customers are Baby Boomers who are looking for an all-rounder boat they can enjoy as a couple, or with the grandkids. They realise they're not getting any younger, and a boat is on their 'bucket list'. This boat is the ideal in terms of space, handling, fuel economy and usable space. It's equal to a 45 footer in terms of space. It really works. We've had no negative feedback at all.'

In four years since Integrity came to the market, Flanagan and his team have sold 33 boats, with an additional 21 currently on order - both stock and sold boats.

Integrity positions itself as the best value displacement boats on the market, with unmatched local warranty and service support. The brand is committed to the ethos of making cruising more accessible and affordable for everybody, from entry level boaties, old timers and the budget conscious.

'I designed the kind of boat my wife and I would like to own, and it seems to have found its niche,' says Flanagan. 'The Integrity range of boats was created with the Australian market and climate specifically in mind. Boaties will greatly appreciate not only the low purchase price and running costs of these vessels but also the high quality of workmanship and finish of the interiors. A high quality FGI gelcoat system is used to create an easy to look after finish that also looks sensational.'

Manufactured in China to strict quality control measures, complete with Australian government accredited marine surveyor living on the premises and overseeing operations, including daily inspections, the Integrity range are an exceptional choice for those considering boating as their leisure activity.

'Our boats are perfect for all ages, especially Baby Boomers and above, with full 360 degree walk around decks and a side door beside the helm station for easy three step access to the jetty or pontoon, without having to jump at all – great for single-handed operation.'

Particularly with the Boomer market, price is a distinguishing factor. 'They are after a deal,' acknowledges Flanagan. 'They also want economy and they get it with what must be the best coastal cruising boat around. But they are also discerning and know quality when they see it. They want the best.'
