ISAF releases 2016 Kiteboarding Format Evaluation reports

The 2016 Kiteboarding Format Evaluations were held in Santander, Spain from 21st to 25th March 2012. ISAF has now released the Evaluation and Technical Kiteboarding Evaluation Kiteboarding Technical Report

The reports and recommendations will now go forward to the Equipment Committee and Events Committee at the 2012 ISAF Mid-Year Meeting in Stresa, Italy from 3rd to 6th May. The ISAF Council will make the final decision taking into consideration any recommendation from the Committees.

The price of legacy
Malcolm Page OAM, two-time Olympic Gold Medallist, became the Chief of Olympic Sailing for the USA on January 1 Malcolm Page OAM, two-time Olympic Gold Medallist (470) with Nathan Wilmot in 2008 and Mat Belcher in 2012, became the Chief of Olympic Sailing for the USA on January 1 this year. In and of itself it is hardly the freshest news, and well and truly yesterday’s fish wrapper. It was also a wise choice on behalf of Team USA, for he has succeeded in both the physical and commercial arms of our sport.

Always happy to have something a bit different to feature and this one does not involve a moving sea, tropical sun, bathers (swimmers) or anything quite like that. Kiting cruising on skis and skates! Burton, who won Gold in the Laser Class in Rio, sailed the race of his life to pull off a stunning victory on the final day of racing.

U.S. Olympians Stu McNay (Providence, R.I.) and Dave Hughes (Miami, Fla.) won their fourth Miami medal in the last five years, with three of those medals being gold.
