'ISAF Sailing World Cup Miami 2014'    Walter Cooper /US Sailing

It was another test of patience today at the ISAF Sailing World Cup Miami for all classes waiting for the wind to fill in on Biscayne Bay. At 2:30pm, the postponement flag was lowered and all fleets were sent out to race.

Highlight performances on the Canadian side include Radial sailor Claire Merry with another solid day, tying for third place overall with Caterina Romero (PER). Paige Railey (USA) still hangs onto the lead.

SKUD team John McRoberts and Jackie Gay continue to challenge the GBR leaders Rickham and Birrell with second place overall. Sonar team Paul Tingley/Logan Campbell/Scott Lutes move up the leaderboard to bronze medal position after a two on the day.

The Nacra 17 team Luke Ramsay and Nikola Girke (CAN) secured their first win in Miami in the opening race to move up to third overall however were protested and that result is currently under review. They currently sit seventh overall.

Tomorrow's forecast is calling for minimal wind and lots of rain. Stay tuned.
