ISAF Sailing World Cup Hyeres: More glamour conditions on day 4 +Video

ISAF Sailing World Cup Hyères 2014 - Sailors have been treated to some exceptional racing at ISAF Sailing World Cup Hyères with glamorous conditions over the opening three days.

More of the same is expected on the fourth day of racing with a morning north westerly breeze in between 3-6 knots turning to the west and increasing to 9-12 knots at midday. As the day goes on a south westerly breeze in between 13-16 knots will ensure more great racing on the French Riviera.

A trough extending from the southern Adriatic Sea to the gulf of Genoa and to south eastern France fills gradually and disappears at about midday. A low 1013 hPa is expected to form over south-western France by early afternoon moving slowly north eastward and deepening 1009 hPa over central France late afternoon.

The ISAF TV team took to the water on the third day with some great race action in the Men’s 470 and 49erFX in Part one and Laser Radial and 49er in Part two.





Expect more great race action in the European evening on the ISAF Sailing World Cup YouTube channel. Tracking of the fleets resumes on the fourth day of racing in 2D and 3D and is available to view on the ISAF website.

Racing is scheduled to commence at 11:00 local time as gold fleet racing enters the second day. The schedule for the day is as follows:

Men’s RS:X Gold – 13:30 – Three Races
Men’s RS:X Silver – 13:40 – Three races
Women’s RS:X 13:50 – Three races
Men’s 470 Gold - 13:30 – Two races
Men’s 470 Silver – 13:40 – Two races
Women’s 470 – 13:50 – Two races
Finn – 13:30 – Two races
Laser Gold – 13:30 – Two races
Laser Silver – 13:40 – Two races
Laser Radial Gold – 11:10 - Two races
Laser Radial Silver – 11:10 – Two races
49er Gold – 11:00 – Three races
49er Silver – 15:30 – Three races
49er Bronze – 11:00 – Three races
49erFX Gold – 13:30 – Three races
49erFX Silver – 11:00 – Three races
Nacra 17 Gold – 11:00 – Three races
Nacra 17 Silver – 11:00 – Three races
2.4mR – 14:00 – Two races
Sonar – 14:10 – Two races
