The IFDS 2014 Worlds at the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron may be a just a memory by now. But as you reflect back on the year, we hope you will agree that week of competition in Halifax, Nova Scotia set a new standard for disabled sailing. It was the largest world regatta yet with 18 SKUD-18 teams, 14 Sonar teams and 49 2.4mR competitors and the largest number of countries participating.
There were some challenging days finding enough wind to race. However, each class selected a world champion for the year and many competitors expressed their appreciation for the facilities at the Squadron and for the event organization.
We hope you will enjoy looking back with us at some of the images captured through the week.
Best wishes for an exciting IFDS Worlds in 2015 to be held at the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria in Melbourne, Australia November 26 - December 3rd, 2015.
Merry Christmas from Canada!
