Hartley 16s at half way point at Nationals

With the first day of the 48th Hartley 16 Nationals hosted by the Manukau Yacht and Motor Boat club getting blown out focus went onto getting 4 races away in lighter conditions on Day 2 of the 3 day regatta.
Locals 'Shaking Laundry' Robin Williams and Derek Hickman with a very consistent 1,1,2,5 score card lead the series with 'Bizarre' Gareth and Mike Insley in second place in the fleet of 21 boats competing in the event.
New Plymouth boat and defending champion Alan Holdt and Wayne Julian in 'Tightfit' are in third.
The racing is extremely close with the whole fleet finishing within 3 minutes from first to last. Light conditions are expected for the final days sailing today.
