Global Ocean race: Buckley Systems announces withdrawal

Ross and Campbell Field announced today that Team Buckley Systems is withdrawing from the Global Ocean Race.

This is a result of medical advice. Ross injured his back when their Class40 yacht crashed off a giant wave in the Southern Ocean as they encountered storm force winds. He will have to undergo surgery and, after consulting Buckley Systems, has decided to suspend all competitive racing until his health is restored.

Buckley Systems has fully supported this decision.
