Garda Trentino Olympic Week - Breakthrough for Brenda Bowskill

Garda Trentino Olympic Week wrapped up yesterday after four great days of racing in Lake Garda Italy. The Canadian radial team has seen some breakthroughs including Brenda Bowskill (RCYC) qualifying for her first medal race on Sunday by clinching two good final races in the breeze.
Claire Merry (RCYC) finished her series up with a solid second place finish in the final race of the fleet racing. Sarah Douglas (RCYC) and Violet Stafford (RCYC/KYC) came with the team to Lake Garda to experience their first European event. Over the week these two have been working on starts and learning from top sailors around the world.
The Laser team was led by senior team member Robert Davis (KYC) alongside development sailors Matt Ryder (SLYC) and Alex Heinzemann (RVYC). Robert continues to gain momentum throughout his season with another race win and top twenty result under his belt. Congratulations to these sailors:
