The 2012 Club Marine Australian Marine Export & Superyacht Industry Awards, organized by the Australian International Marine Export Group (AIMEX) were announced on Thursday night at the AIMEX and Club Marine annual networking function in Sydney’s Darling Harbor.

The award for Most Innovative Marine Industry Exported Product recognises market-leading products that demonstrate overall product superiority offering a point of difference from their competitors.

FinScan were awarded Winners in the category ‘Most Innovative Marine Industry Exported Product’.

Based in New South Wales, FinScan are developers of innovative power and security solutions for boats of all sizes.
The company’s dynamic, yet grounded, philosophy has given the marine industry easy to use technology that is adaptive to the boat builders and end user requirements.

The award was given to FinScan for the IntelliCORE Smart Power System; a complete power control & management solution allowing ease and simplicity for any user. The Bio eStart engine starting product won the award back in 2010.
The IntelliCORE system was developed with simplicity in mind – it consists of many components that work together to profile complete, smart power switching and monitoring on a vessel from a central point. The innovative system is designed for boats ranging from 16ft – 70ft in size and it at the cutting edge of technology and design.

The system ranges in size and capabilities, from as small as one touchscreen controlling a small group of DC circuits, through to a complete control system for larger vessels; consisting of multiple touchscreens, AC / DC switching, shore power management, tank levels and many more.

At Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show 2012, FinScan announced and launched the inclusion of the IntelliCORE Smart Power system as a standard feature on the new Palm Beach Motor Yachts 45.

FinScan began showing the system at METS and IBEX in 2011 where they realized that the product was unique, in demand and superior in many ways, than anything else that was currently on the market. They have since had presence at other International Shows such as Miami Boat Show 2012 where the system has been very well received.

A dedication to research and development has allowed FinScan to respond to International export requirements swiftly around the world.

FinScan have maintained their export presence and success by ensuring continuous improvement and implementation of more efficient and effective ways to manufacture.
