Rex Gorell Prestige Etchells Australian Championships Day One.

Two hours sitting waiting for the south easter to come. Greg Sinclair the Regatta PRO posted the AP - postponement flag on a glassy Corio Bay at 12 noon.

At 14.00 Greg Sinclair was still holding the fleet, and had moved the Committe boat to the western end of the Bay. The breeze was five knots at the top mark blowing from the east, as the fleet waits patiently for it to fill in.
