The Notice of Race and entry forms are now available online at www.portdouglasyachtclub.com.au for the 2013 Exemplar Coaches and Limousines Clipper Cup Regatta. The event is the flagship of the world famous yacht club in the Far North Queensland sailing mecca of Port Douglas, the most northern yacht club on the Australian eastern seaboard.

The four day, six race regatta is open to monohulls and multihulls to contest in three divisions to claim a title to the prestigious Clipper Cup, once the trophy for the international sailing icon of the Pan Am Clipper Cup series in Hawaii sailed in the 1970's and '80's.

Attracting a diverse fleet of twenty three yachts in 2012 organisers are keen to add to that number this year.

Queensland sailing legend and former competitor in the original series over thirty years ago, John Graham will once again be the Race Officer.

Catering for every mix from serious club racers to 'have a go cruisers' the aim of the event is to get as many people enjoying the most fun under the tropical sun racing the winds of paradise.

Scheduled to coincide with Port Douglas Carnivale there will be a whole host of activities in addition to the great sailing that participants can be involved with during the last two weeks of May.

Start making your plans now and join the fun and excitement of the Port Douglas Yacht Club Exemplar Clipper Cup Regatta.
