We ask you to join us for an evening with our CEO, Dyer Jones. Learn the history of the America's Cup from the first races, through the Herreshoff era, and into the latest multihulls. This is your chance to gain perspective from an America's Cup expert.
Dyer Jones is currently the Chairman of the Selection Committee of the America's Cup Hall of Fame at the Herreshoff Marine Museum in Bristol, RI. Dyer started his career with the America's Cup in 1967 working for the Columbia syndicate where he spent the summer hauling sails up and down the dock. He was the Regatta Director for the Louis Vuitton Cup Challenger Series in 2000 and 2003 in Auckland, NZ, and Regatta Director for the 32nd America's Cup in 2007 in Valencia, Spain. He has worked for the past 40 years at The Anchorage, Inc. in Warren, RI, which builds Dyer Boats (he is named for the firm's founder, his grandfather, William Dyer). Dyer is a former Commodore of the New York Yacht Club and served as its Race Committee Chairman during the memorable 1983 America's Cup.
