Denial of Service ‘Pirates’ attacks slowed Sail-World.com

Razor barbed wire on stern rail SW
A bit of a seaway out there!! For the last 48 hours Sail-World, Powerboat-world and MarineBusiness-World and another 50 or so sites, hosted on the TetraMedia servers in Sydney have been bombarded with hacker 'pirate'attacks.
Our security systems and some water cannons kept the hackers at sea, but server processes slowed, as we withstood heavy rocket grenade attacks. Frustration over the last two days, but today we are back at full speed.
As Daryl Krasu, our senior programmer says ‘What does not kill you.... makes you stronger. ‘
We now have even stronger security (rolls of high tensile barbed wire on the stern and side rail as well) and a faster data retrieval system.
Good timing too with the Sydney to Hobart looming.
