Dean Barker to speak to Sea Scout's fundraiser - tickets available

One of New Zealand's most celebrated sailors, Penny Whiting, is one of the driving forces behind the restoration of the historic sea scouts building in Cox's Bay.

She writes:


Hi, and I hope you are enjoying the last of summer.

I have been involved with the Restoration of the Hawke Sea Scouts building in Cox’s Bay for a few years now.

We are ready to start stage one and Dean Barker has agreed to come and talk on the 7th April to help the fund raising for the restoration.

This is an invitation and hope that you can get a few friends together to come along. See details below:
