Day 3 - the 22 nautical mile Around the Island race in the 2008 Sunferries Magnetic Island series, goes anticlockwise from Nelly Bay. With a scheduled start of 10am.

With plenty of breeze, the race record is likely to be blown away by the high tech New Zealand speedster Marley Unwired.

There will be vision, still and text available this after racing.

Media Director Rob Kothe will be on the water on 0418 441359 with a long distance mobile phone aerial for live audio news from the race course.
