The 2007 Club Marine Melbourne Boat Show is on at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre from July 5-9 and if you think it’s just for the boaties, you will be surprised by how much more there is to offer for you and your family! In addition to millions of dollars worth of boats on display, there will also be water displays, boating, diving and fishing accessories and entertainment catering especially to the children, such as Flat Head Fred and an Animal Nursery. For those amongst you who are looking for a fun day out, the 2007 Club Marine Melbourne Boat Show is your one-stop-shop to keep everyone in the family happy. At the centre of the show, the Yamaha Superstage will be a hive of activity with exciting displays and demonstrations happening over the five days. The stage activities will kick off with the official opening by Mr Tim Pallas MP, Minister for Roads and Ports, followed by ‘Stormy Seas’, a talk by Garry Schipper. Garry’s talk will be the first of many by knowledgeable marine industry insiders who will offer their time and boating tips from the Yamaha Superstage for your benefit and entertainment. On the lighter side, the stage will also showcase fashion parades, Duo Aloha (from the tropics!), The Art of Fly Fishing with Rob Flower, a Q & A with Emile Kairua - production manager on the Survivor series, and Geoff ‘Coxy’ Cox taking to the Yamaha Superstage for the daily Tinnie & Tackle prize draw. In an extra special treat for the gastronomists amongst you, Crown Casino presents Number 8 Restaurant and Wine Bar Sous Chef, Andreas Gober on the Yamaha Superstage, for a special Cocktails, Mocktails and Canapés presentation. All this and much more is on display at the 2007 Club Marine Boat Show, so come along to the Melbourne Exhibition Centre from July 5-9 to take part! Visit the official website at www.biavic.com.au.
