The one-design boat classes of the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club will relocate from their usual urban territory in Victoria Harbour to the 'open sea' in Port Shelter, Sai Kung.
The regatta will consist of five races; with two races scheduled on Saturday 11 February and three races scheduled on Sunday 12 February.
Approximately 50 boats will race using RHKATI handicaps; with Etchells, J/80 and Sportsboat fleets competing for the Long Course title; and Dragon, Flying Fifteen, Impala, Pandora and Ruffian classes racing for Short Course honours.
Traditionally, sailors have braved cold, wet weather to enjoy some great sailing conditions in the New Territories and the forecast indicates that this year will be no exception!
The Official Prize Presentation is scheduled immediately following racing on Sunday 12 February (approximately 1800hrs).
The two-day Class Regatta is presented by Jeanneau, the luxury yacht-maker solely distributed by China Pacific Marine in Hong Kong.
