Challenge yourself, improve your skills with Youth Squad training

by Royal Perth Yacht Club on 6 Dec 2013
Royal Perth Yacht Club .. .
Sailors from the ages of 14 - 24 are invited to attend Youth Squad training on Friday the 13th of December at 1630. After the training session, a meeting will be conducted to discuss the guidelines of the Squad and the plans for the season.

Being a member of the Youth Squad provides young sailors with the opportunity to participate in fleet racing and match racing training on a regular basis, with the idea of competing in future regatta. Training takes place on the BW8s and is a fantastic opportunity for young people to become involved with like minded and similarly aged sailors, as well as receive coaching and training on a regular basis.

Royal Perth Yacht Club has a strong, successful history in youth sailing. Past Youth Squad members include America’s Cup sailors Torvar Mirsky and Kinley Fowler and many other group members have achieved success at local, national and international levels.

For further information on the Youth Squad and how you can become involved, please contact the Sailing Office on 9389 RPYC website
