Today, tight racing in all fleets continued on Petit Lac Magog for the sailors challenged by light to stormy winds, and sun and rain throughout the day.
The Double handed 29er fleets have seen six races bringing them one drop race for the Games’ series so far. Coming out of yesterday the Quebec Female team of Florence Pépin-Delhaes and Virginie Lavallée-Corbeil sat in first place. After today’s close racing and score shifts, the Ontario Female team of Katherine McEwen and Linor Berezin performed enough to take the lead in provisional standings! These athletes train together in Kingston on this season and are seeing each other in a different light here at the Games.
BC’s Male 29er team of Ryan Wood & Lloyd Lyall are holding on to their lead with 3-1-3 finishes today.
