Boat Deck completes 60th marine website

by Boat Deck on 30 Apr 2012
Boat Deck specialises in marine websites. ..
Marine technology company Boat Deck has completed its 60th marine industry website in less than 18 months.

In response to demand from the marine community for modern websites with search engine optimisation (SEO) and social media capabilities, Boat Deck has created an exclusive platform specifically designed to meet the diverse needs of the marine market.

Websites have been completed for some of the largest industry cornerstones, including Steber and Sydney City Marine. The company is now seen as one of the most significant technology providers in the marine industry.

Boat Deck project manager Rebecca Jones said most of their clients had come to them with older sites that were not ranking well in Google.

'In some instances their footprint in Google was almost none existent,' Ms Jones said. 'We have been able to demonstrate a significant increase in direct, free traffic from search engines and more consistent sales leads coming directly through their new website.'

The Boat Deck platform gives marine businesses complete autonomy over their website content, enabling dealers to choose where they want their listings and news articles sent.

Built-in SEO ensures efficient indexing in Google and other major search engines. Customers can also edit and update the site themselves, dramatically reducing administration and maintenance costs.

'Our clients understand that success in this market requires more than just an old webpage,' Ms Jones said. 'They know that expanding their online presence and tapping into the rapidly growing online buyer community is vital,' she added.

'We make it easy for our clients to take advantage of social media in a way that is meaningful to their business, and their potential customers, while reducing administrative overheads.'

Boat Deck offers a range of features including social media integration, built-in SEO, unlimited images, videos, brochure downloads, detailed analytics and team profiles. Newsletter modules, and mobile/tablet versions are just some of the other options available. Websites start from $500.

It was also a wise choice on behalf of Team USA, for he has succeeded in both the physical and commercial arms of our sport.
