Audi Hamilton Island Race Week Day 6 - Lighter winds today and with the ebbing tide delivering wind with tide flat water until mid-afternoon, a much easier day for the 190 boat fleet.

Regatta Director Denis Thompson has just advised the courses for today.

Cruising Divisions 1 and 2, Melges 32, Cruise 3 and Non Spin Course 12.

This is an 22.1 nautical mile course starting with a Dent Passage start, then round Pine Island,Long Island and White Rock finishing back down the Dent Passage.

IRC A and Super Multis Course 16, IRC B Course 14, 24.4 nautical miles Catseye Bay start to Ann Island, Sidney, Pine Island, finishing in Dent Passage. IRC C New course 24

Performance 1 and 2 will be sailing Windward Leewards on Catseye Bay.

There is heavy overcast and light rain here at the momen, hhere on Hamilton Island. Very similar to yesterday and that quickly cleared to a brilliant blue sky, so we are hoping without any basis that might happen again today.
