by Team Phaedo on 22 Feb 2015

Today Phaedo3 went out for a practice with its crew, knowing that, the Farr-designed 115-foot, Sojana, completed the 'Around Antigua Island' race in 4 hours, 37 minutes and 43 seconds in 2009, a record which is still to be broken. Team Phaedo decided to see if they could improve on this time unofficially.
Lloyd Thornburg and his crew, hammered around the island in 2 hours, 44 Minutes and 15 seconds. 35 knots is the highest speed anyone can remember seeing…unofficially!
