It has been a big week of racing with Luna Rossa for the Emirates Team New Zealand sailing team on the Hauraki Gulf in Auckland.
Four days sailing and racing is not just hard on the sailors, the shore crew plays a vital role in keeping the highly tuned racing machine in race mode for each days sailing.
Team tactician Ray Davies appreciates just how valuable it is to line up against some actual opposition to focus the team and experience the pressure of match racing the AC72 flying machines to be fully race ready by the time the Louis Vuitton Cup regatta starts in just four months time.
