|
Emirates Team New Zealand and the Italian Challenger, Luna Rossa were out race training again, off Auckland's North Shore. Sail-World's camera caught this sequence as the two AC72's rounded a windward mark, went through the 'Zone of Death' and headed downwind. Winds were recorded in the early afternoon as averaging 20kts gusting 25kts, at the entrance to Auckland harbour, and 25kts average gusting 30 at the outer end of the 2000/2003America's Cup course area.
