Allen Brothers METS Launches - Stronger, Faster, Smoother, Lighter

Allen's 2016 launch programme comprises:

A2045 Triple Block

The new A2045 Triple Block is designed for mainsheets on multihulls, keelboats, sportsboats and small yachts, where a 6:1 purchase is required. The 40mm sheave and ball bearing deliver a smooth, free running action with a class leading breaking load.

A2047 Quad Block

The new A2047 Quad Block delivers an 8:1 purchase for multihulls, keelboats, sportsboats and small yachts, where. The 40mm sheave and ball bearing deliver a smooth, free running action with a class leading breaking load.

A2034-676 Triple Block and Cleat

The new A2034-676 Triple Block with a A.676 Cleat meets the need for Cunninghams on multihulls, keelboats, sportsboats and small yachts, where, rig tensioners and any other application requiring a 6:1 purchase with a 30mm sheave which needs to be cleated off securely.

A4866XB Swivel Cleat

The A4866XB Swivel Cleat is a custom product and a direct response to a request from Olympic 49er sailors, Dylan Fletcher and Charlotte Dobson which went from concept to reality in just one week. The A4866XB Swivel Cleat gave our crews a major advantage. Charlotte Dobson told us, 'It makes a huge difference, especially on the starting side. Sophie (Anderton) can uncleat the jib and adjust it from the front or the back of the boat really, really easily.'

Hatch Covers

A.171 Aerovane

Sailors need no longer have the irritation of different angles for port and starboard tacks when they look up to their wind indicator. A good wind indicator makes a tremendous difference to your sailing and the success of the original A..71 Aerovane led to calls for a larger version, designated the A.171, for bigger dinghies and sports boats. It is 250mm long with horizontal arms, which are linked to give identical port and starboard readings.

Traveller Cars A4389TII and A4589TII

The new Allen Traveller Cars are reinforced with internal cross beams and are designed for use with the Tii range of tie on blocks to offer robust, lightweight track solutions for jib and main block cars.
