All good things must come to an end

What a great 10 days of top class racing we have been privileged to see – besides the Royals being in town, the big names of the sailing industry were here too and put on a show which will be very hard to beat.

The Cruising Yacht Club of Australia, which hosted the Rolex Farr 40 Worlds, was swamped with visitors from all over the world.

Accents from each continent were heard. Some sailors even brought a touch of their homeland with them - their own local beer and food – one container we thought held all the sailing secrets was actually packed with pasta!

Evolution took the Cup home, or should I say kept it home, while Team Shockwave fought until the very last gust of wind.

TWT with their unique (and unforgettable) yellow anti-fog t-shirts put up a big battle to put
Europe on the podium in an otherwise Australian assault.

The whole week was spectacular to picture and all the images of the event can be seen on: www.afrancolini.com

Enjoy and see you soon

Andrea
