Put Some Summer in Your Winter at the Toronto International Boat Show! Canadian Yachting is a proud participant in the 55th Toronto International Boat Show beginning January 12th, 2013. Canada’s premiere boat show is the best place to see and buy the latest in boats and boating-related accessories and services.

The Toronto Boat Show’s Special Preview Night on January 11th showcases a united industry working together to help others in need. Over the course of 11 years it has raised more than $585,000 for initiatives that are close to the hearts of the boating community. In 2012 it raised $24,615 for childrens’ charities and, in celebration of the London 2012 Olympic Games, for Canada’s Boating Olympic Athletes!

Malcolm Page OAM, two-time Olympic Gold Medallist, became the Chief of Olympic Sailing for the USA on January 1 Malcolm Page OAM, two-time Olympic Gold Medallist (470) with Nathan Wilmot in 2008 and Mat Belcher in 2012, became the Chief of Olympic Sailing for the USA on January 1 this year. In and of itself it is hardly the freshest news, and well and truly yesterday’s fish wrapper. It was also a wise choice on behalf of Team USA, for he has succeeded in both the physical and commercial arms of our sport.

World Sailing's headquarters will relocate from Southampton to central London, UK in late summer 2017. The selection of London as the new home for the International Federation comes after an extensive evaluation process of possible locations undertaken since the election of a new President and Board of Directors in November 2016.
