2014 Brazilian Championship Soto 40 Class
The Brazilian Championship continued today at Marina Verolme, Angra Dos Reis with only one race due to the lack of wind, winning Eduardo Souza Ramos's Pajero the top position overall.
The first race started as it was scheduled, with a 10 knot wind over the race course. Pajero crossed the finish line in first position with six points in the overall ranking and added their second victory. They leave behind Carioca with seven points, and Crioula and Ocean Pact with eight and nine points respectively.
The second race started normally but it had to be cancelled before the windward mark due the lack of wind, so they will have to wait one more day to see who is going to win the next race.
The Brazilian Championship will continue tomorrow at 12 o'clock at Marina Verolme with the first attention signal for the next race and the wind predicted for tomorrow is to have between six to eight knots. Nothing is decided yet in a competition with still four races left.
