At the 2013 ISAF Nations Cup Grand Final August eighth, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark has visited together with a select crew.
The crew includes, Jesper Bank (Olympic gold medallist, in Barcelona 1992 and in Syndey 2000 in the soling class), Thomas Jacobsen (Olympic gold in soling in 2000), Henrik Blakskjær (Olympic gold medal in the soling in 2000) and Peter Lang (Olympic bronze medal in London in 2012), he challenged the team, who have so far been unbeaten in the competition.
Skipper Nicolai Sehested (age 23) and his crew are now favorites to win the trophy but would the prince end their winning record?
With the Nations Cup being a race of country versus country the Crown Prince who once competed for Denmark, found himself racing against fellow Danes.
It was a close match decided in the end by a penalty against the royal boat.
