The Farr 40 European fleet has announced the dates for the four legs of the 2009 Farr 40 European Circuit.
The first event of the calendar will take place in Porto Rotondo, Sardinia, with successive legs scheduled in Capri, Porto Cervo and Cagliari.
The Porto Rotondo Regatta will take place from 24th to 26th April and 12 boats, representing six nations (GBR, ITA, SUI, GER, UKR, USA) are currently registered. The starting line-up will include reigning European and three-time World Champion Vincenzo Onorato with his Mascalzone Latino.
The 2009 calendar also includes an out of circuit event in the form of the Rolex Farr 40 World Championship to be held in Porto Cervo immediately after the third series.
Racing for the European fleet concludes with the Farr 40 European Championship in Cagliari from 27th July to 1st August.
