Sail-World.com the largest sailing marine news network in the world has an extra-ordinary amount of sailing content, currently 106,000 stories, with images and result stretching back sixteen years. This is easily the largest sailing database in the world. For serious sailors there is a UK customised Sail-World toolbar that you can use now.
It provides Breaking news tickers from across all its sites world-wide, localised Twitter feed and Facebook links, enables fast searches and has a handy drop down for a whole range of Sail-world key elements, access to all the latest Sail-World feature articles, content submit, full site search across those 106,000 stories, access to the complete newsletter archives and of course newsletter subscribe.
Our Sail-World UK tool bar has been used by our editorial and support team around the world for the last month and we’ve been adding features day after day.
So if you want to know what is happening on the UK sailing scene and internationally NOW, install this toolbar now.
It is available now for Internet Explorer (6-9) Firefox and Chrome (PC only).
There's drop down explanations for the customised buttons, hover your mouse over each to see the function.
To the right there is an icon which will show the relative ranking of the site you are currently on. They are ranked one to ten million in the world, where No. 1 is just that, the most popular site in the world based on Alexa readership, and 10 millionth is at the tail of the field.
You can move off the Sail-World site with this toolbar, just key in the site address you want to visit in the usual way and you are there. Click on the Sail-World logo on the left of the toolbar to return to Sail-World.
We have also launched the USA, Canadian, Asian, European, Cruising North, Cruising South, PowerBoat-World and MarineBusiness-World toolbars, with details on the relevant sites and with details in newsletters.
