New Zealand’s young Olympic medal hopefuls from the NZL Sailing Team, the Yachting equivalent of the All Blacks, were given a chance to experience the ‘next step’ in their sailing careers when they spent the afternoon sailing the AC45. On a grey and blustery day, the newly established Australian challenge for the 34th America’s Cup put the AC45 catamaran through its paces on Auckland’s Waitemata Harbor.
