Platu 25 Alp Cup Tobias stoerkle
Everything is ready for competing in the fourth and last CEAC Act, the Platu 25 Alp Circuit involving six different countries and four Alps Lakes. With this appointment - from tomorrow to the 7th September, a brilliant seal season is going to be concluded: after Immenstaadt on Constance Lake in Germany 17-18 May), Gmunden on Traunsee Lake in Austria (29-31 May) and in Brunnen, on the Four Canton Lake in Switzerland (30-31 August), it's now the Italian time.

The last Alp Cup Act is organised by Lega Navale Mandello, on the Lecco branch of Como Lake and it's the last occasion to train before the most expected event, the World Championship in Antibes, France, from 10th to 27th of September.

The best European Platu 25 crews will be placed on the start line and they will compete in order to conquer the 2014 Alp-Cup Champion title. The challenge is expected to be engaging with Swiss 'Superbusi' helmed by Mathias Bermejo – defender of the 2013 Alp Cup Champion title - that will have to face the very strong British 'Reach Around' helmed by Chris Sutherland and the other Swiss crew 'Aramis' helmed by Martin Sigrist.

In the last Swiss Act in Brunnen, also a very competitive Austrian crew managed very well, conquering just one week ago the Central European Alp-Cup III Act and gaining a lot of positions in the general ranking list.

The Platu 25 fleet in Mandello del Lario will try also to face foreign crews, lining up the best of its crews. Among teams from Mandello, there will be Bambolina' helmed by Molfino, 'Bambino Viziato' of Simonetta and Richard Martini, 'Pirillina' of Claudio and Mauro Fasoli , 'Lo Sguscio' helmed by Domenico Bertolini, ', 'Masquenada' by Michele Lattuada, 'B 52' by Giorgio Redaelli, and others. Star class will also compete during this week end in Mandello.

There will be an othere very competitive boat to defend the Italian flag. It's 'Five for Fighting 3' from Puglia, South Italy, owned by Tommaso De Bellis and helmed by Giulio Desiderato, a 470 champion.

The Italian crews will do their utmost to conquer at leat the last CEAC Act, taking advantage of their knowledge of the regatta field in Mandello del Lario. In a couple of days, we'll know the new Platu 25 Alp Cup Champion.
